• rub the starch into the fur with gentle movements;

Wood sawdust

Quite hard fur of a muskrat, otter or astrakhan fur is perfectly cleaned by sawdust.

Washing artificial fabric at home

1. The basin is filled with warm water (no more than 40°C), in which liquid soap or gel for washing delicate items is dissolved.
2. The fur item is dipped into the resulting soap solution and left for twenty minutes.
3. Using gentle, gentle movements, wring out the fur item in a soapy solution; if necessary, treat particularly dirty areas with a soft brush.
4. The washed fur is immersed in warm, clean water for rinsing. The water is changed several times until the soapy stains disappear.

Machine washing is allowed for faux fur, provided that the length of the pile does not exceed 3-4 cm.
