Eliminating the snag using the second method is easy and simple:

1. The dress is laid out on the table. Since the threads of the holds are very thin, it is necessary to provide sufficient local lighting.
2. Gently stretching the thin fabric, smooth out the track of folds that stretches from the hook loop.
3. If there is not enough thread to stretch the fold path, you need to very carefully pry and tighten a small section of thread located 3-5 mm from the tightening.So, millimeter by millimeter, the thread from the loop is pulled along the entire length of the fabric.

• similarly to the previous manipulations, stepping back a couple of centimeters from the tightening point, stretch the fabric in the direction of the weft thread.

Steaming with an iron will help completely remove traces of snags on synthetic fabric.

Knitwear, knitted fabrics

A special hook for lifting loops will help you remove puffs from soft, cozy knitted or crocheted dresses. It is not difficult to identify it by a small loop with a lock attached to the end of a thin knitting needle.

Algorithm of actions:

1. The dress is tightened and straightened on the table.
2. Having hooked the thread with a special hook, they tighten the loose knitting loop and fix it on the main fabric with a thin needle with a thread that matches the main fabric.

Silk

To hide the puffs on a light silk dress, you need to show a lot of patience and accuracy. To work you will need two items: a very thin needle and an iron..

Very carefully, slowly, trying not to damage the threads adjacent to the hook, tighten the elongated loop with a thin sewing needle from the front side to the wrong side. Afterwards the product is ironed.

Silk should not be ironed at high temperatures (there is a high risk of final damage to the dress).

Cotton, linen, jeans

Snagging on fairly dense natural fabrics is very rare. But if such a problem does happen, eliminate the puff can be done in the following way:

• a thin needle with a large eye is injected into the spot of the hook;

1. Light chiffon, silk, satin dresses are washed only in special bags, setting the delicate mode, minimum spin speed.
2. Do not soak dresses before washing. Prolonged contact with aggressive detergents accelerates the process of fiber wear, the appearance of puffs and other defects.
3. Rinsing with conditioner will not only preserve the brightness of the colors and the density of the fabric from which the dress is sewn, but will also prevent the appearance of snags (smooth, strong threads are pulled out much less often).
